“If I tell him to turn left, he would turn right. I know it for sure,” exhales Maitreyee summing up her 28 years of togetherness. Mahendra sits silently by her side with a charismatic calmness on his face, listening to Maitreyee’s animated description of Mahendra and their marriage.
One striking feature of their relationship is their strong individual personalities. Both are successful working professionals and they work together for Pathfinders Holidays, a travel and tourism company, which both of them co-founded years back. As far as working together in the same office, it is a sight to see. They have completely different temperaments with their distinctive style of handling inquiries, situations, people and alas, each other! One can very confidently say that they are in true love as they never ran with a check-list of what is right and what is not. They just took situations and differences, owned them and gave them a beautiful twist with their love. Yes, it’s a perfect chalk and cheese!
Maitreyee is the force of nature and brings life to any conversation while Mahendra’s calm demeanor, charming personality, witty takes on situations completes Maitreyee. Well! They both are extensive travellers, and they travel across the world because of professional and personal interests. However, they make sure to take at least one vacation off together. Right now, as we are writing about their unique bonding which makes them special, both of them are off to Milan to celebrate Maitreyee’s birthday!
